B&B Campo de' Fiori REVIEW

Hotel Enthusiast tries to stick to reviews of hotels but occasionally other property sneak in due to the limitation of hotels in an area or because it's such a special place that we felt it had to be reviewed. The Campo di'Fiori qualifies on both counts. It's a small B&B situated just round the corner from the famous piazza and was our base for the next two days in Rome. Right in the heart of the historical centre of Rome, amid the restaurants, bars and the tourist sights, the Campo is surprisingly quiet because that it's on the 4th floor of an apartment block. Giovanella, the owner, who is a delightful women, has managed to create a small oasis that's clean, spacious and homely and a bargain compared to many of the hotels in the area.

Breakfast on the terrace is the best way to start the day.
